The saying that when two elephants fight the grass will suffer will  come into play on Saturday at Agege Stadium when Bridge Football Club take on 36 Lion Football Club in the star match of the day at the ongoing Winners Golden Bet/Lagos FA Cup.


Bridge FC who defeated the defending champions, AS Recine FC to reach this stage will attempt to push their luck further when they take on 36 Lion FC that demolished Anointed Star FC by six goals to nothing.


The match promises to by exciting and interesting with players like Kabiru Nosiru, who emerged the Man of the match in the match against AS Recine FC, Ojo and Galadima Sanni, 36 Lion FC has the likes of Qudus Sulaiman, Yusuf Lawal, Princewill Diemesor and Man of Match, in their last match, Otto John.


The match will kick off at 3:30 PM in the last match of the day.

However, Future Stars FC that parade the likes of captain, Tobi Israel, Yusuf Jamiu and Amosu Laja will slug it out against Wordstars FC in the first match of the by 8:00AM same Saturday.


Wordstars FC beaming with confidence after defeating 2012/2013 Runners Up, Fame FC to pick the ticket for the round of 16 match-up, with the likes of Iribiri Samuel, Olabisi Taiwo and Ogunnowo Olaitan are ready to go all the way.


New comer, Ikorodu United will face another new comer to the FA Cup, Eko Akete FC, who recently won the Ekofootball Beach Soccer League.


Ikorodu United with experienced coach, Maurice Cooreman, boosting after their last match that they are the champions in wait, saying that having won the Federation Cup at the National level with Kaduna United when they least expected, has the experience to pilot Ikorodu United all the way.


Meanwhile, Tranzeet Football club will size up Christ Ambassadors FC for a place in the Round of 16.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
