Kogi United recorded a shocking 2-1 victory over Premier League side, Sharks FC in the continuation of Gold Cup Preseason Soccer Tournament. Abdulkareem Yekini opened the score sheet for the Kogi United fifteen minute into the game when he converted a spot kick after Destiny Ashadi was tripped in the box. Babangida Chindo doubled the lead for the Confluence state club in the 41 minutes with a well taken shot to give his side comfortable half time lead.
