Work hard to justify your appointment, NMJ urges MFM FC's Adeyemi

The New Media Journalists  (NMJ) has urged newly appointed League Management Company director, Mr. Emmanuel Adeyemi, to work very hard to justify his appointment as a director. In a release by the group, signed by the Coordinator, Alonge Akinlolu, NMJ asked Adeyemi to bring to bear the knowledge acquired since his days in sports. NMJ recalled that Adeyemi who was recently appointed Director of Football of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club was part of Team Nigeria’s preparations for the last All African Games in Congo Brazzaville. “I have been privileged to meet with Mr. Adeyemi and I can see that he has the zeal to work,” Akinlolu said. “People might be looking at him as a new person in Nigeria football, but I can tell whosoever care to listen that he is a man of great knowledge. “The NMJ wish to congratulate him and affirmed their support for him and other directors. “He has a big task ahead of him to take MFM FC to g...

New Media Journalists laud Rivers United on Super 4 feat

The New Media Journalists (NMJ) have congratulated Rivers United for defeating Wikki Tourists 1-0 to emerge champions of 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Pre Season Super Four tournament hosted in Enugu. Stanley Eguma's Pride of Rivers finished top of the table with 6 points ahead of Enugu Rangers who accumulated 5 points. In a statement on Tuesday, the NMJ praised Rivers United for their doggedness and resilience which earned them the accolade. The body, while praising the players for the discipline and superlative skills they showed in all their matches, implored them to remain focused. "The competition was a hitch free one and at the end of the hostilities Rivers United won. We congratulate them on the success and hope that will spur the team to greater exploits on the continent and their future engagements," part of the statement read.
