Nigerian Coaches as Dull as Pigs - Wale Mustapha
What is this brainless way of thinking and reasoning among coaches of various sports in Nigeria? They will have it rosy and celebrate their appointments only to come up with some useless and baseless talk about revealing what went wrong during their stay. I'm always surprised at their usual saying of "I Will Reveal Everything Soon" whenever they were sacked or asked to "step aside". My worry is they will never reveal anything at the end and it will die inside them like words die inside Pigs (that's my Yoruba believe). We have, in the past, had countless number of coaches telling us they will reveal, disclose, unleash, unravel and expose all that went wrong during their time in charge, but at the end what do we have, NOTHING. I remember Shuaibu Amodu said he will vomit everything that happened during his time as Super Eagles' coach before he was sacked or removed.
