On June 1, 2018, Nigerians from all walks of life especially those in other parts of the United Kingdom, travelled from far and wide to Oxford in London. Oxford street in central London, was locked as British police struggled to curtail thousands of Nigerians trooping in from the various train stations and heading towards Nike Sales office where the Super Eagles jersey was officially put for sale.
