Former Under 20 Star, Ahmad Ghali joins another European Club

After an adventurous seasons, in the Slovakia top league with AS Trencin, Ahmad Ghali, has sealed a two-half-year contract with Czech Republic side, FC Slovan Liberec. Having spent almost three years at one of the most successful clubs in Europe, with brilliant displays almost every week in the Fortuna Liga, the ex-Mahanaim FC of player of Nigeria, has teamed up with another European team. FC Slovan in an official club statement, announced the signing of the Nigerian international via their official twitter handle, few minutes ago, stating that the player will  join the main team probably in their next league match. Super Eagles interim coach, Augustine Eguavoen, has disclosed that he will gladly grab the vacant position of the head coach of the team, if the Nigeria Football Federation offer him the job. Reacting to opinions of Nigerians that they want him to be the head coach of the team, after the remarkable victories over Egypt and Sudan, ahead of the final Group D game, in a press conference at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium. Eguavoen said : “Thanks to all of them. I quite appreciate that. The truth is nobody is the best in the world. “If they give me the job why not.  “This questions have come many many time but I’m very happy with the position I occupy with the Nigeria Football Federation and yes. “If they asked me for it, yes maybe, just maybe and when we get to that river we will cross,” he stated.

Nimrod bids Nigeria journalists covering AFCON 2021 farewell

The President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod has charged journalists covering the 2021 African Football Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon to promote the country's football team. Nimrod gave the charge to journalists on Nigeria Sports Mouthpiece (NSM Reloaded) on Sunday. NFF technical committee member, Aminu Kurfi arrived Garoua, venue of Super Eagles group matches at the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations which kicks off this Sunday in Yaounde.
