Stephen Odey has promised his former MFM FC teammates cash incentive ahead of the Matchday 13 fixture in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) against Enyimba International FC on Sunday. Kada City declare Umar Awol

Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Kada City Football Club has declared one of its players, Umar Bala Mohammad AWOL (Absent Without Official Leave). Umar has allegedly abandoned Kada City for weeks to Belarus. The club Chief Executive Officer, Ekene Adams in a statement, said the footballer disappeared without the knowledge and approval of the management. He noted that Umar was a regular member of the team and played their Week Two contest against Abia Warriors. Ekene informed the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that the player had not been issued any formal clearance or release. The club management said the player is still under contract till December, 2022, adding that the authority will not hesitate to invoke the full consequence of any violation on any individual or club both home and abroad found liable in whatever form. Arrangements have been concluded by the Western Nigeria Football Forum (WNFF) to hold a symposium in honour of late Chief Taiwo Joseph Ogunjobi. According to the first Vice-President of Nigeria Football Federation, and coordinator WNFF Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, the symposium with the theme: 'celebrating the life and times of Ogunjobi' will hold on Wednesday March 13, at the indoor sports hall of Lekan Salami Satdium Adamasingba, Ibadan.
