Efe Ambrose joins Derby County senior team



Derby County newly recruited player, Efe Ambrose has joined the senior team of the English Championship side following his impressive display with the Rams Under 23 team.

The Nigerian international who joined Derby County last month (February) has been moved to the main team ahead of their Matchday 38 fixture against Rotherham.

A close relative to the utility player who can play as a central back and a right back disclosed to nigeriasportsarena.blogspot.com that former Hibernian player has been moved to the Rams main team as they prepare to face Rotherham.

“He has been moved from under 23 to the main team because they used under23 to build his fitness and they are satisfied with his fitness level.

“There next game will be march 30th away and he is likely to start playing with the main team from that date,” he disclosed.

Derby County are sitting on the 6th position on the English Championship table with 56 points from 37 league matches.
