Ilechukwu describes win over Rangers as precious for MFM's season

Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries FC head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu has predicted a tough game on Wednesday against CAF Confederation Cup campaigners, Enugu Rangers. MFM FC will battle Rangers in one of the Matchday 4 fixtures of Group A of the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season which will be decided at the Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium. The two teams have faced each other in this same fixture on five occasions. MFM won one of the games. LMC hammer falls on Enugu Rangers over Imama’s arrest

Rangers International FC and the club Secretary, Elder Joseph Onwukwe has been charged with infractions of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Rules and Framework in the course of mediation proceedings in the dispute between the club and its former coach, Imama Amapakabo.   The League Management Company (LMC) has subsequently levied sanctions on the club and the official with Rangers fined N5m and Onwukwe banned from all NPFL activities for a period of one year.   The LMC also directed Rangers to pay the sacked Coach various sums including N14,560,000 representing his salaries for April to October 2017 and compensation for wrongful termination, N1,600,000 representing his  salary for November and December 2016, N600,000 which represents arrears of allowances and bonuses and $725 which is international travel allowance owed Amapakabo.   Onwukwe was charged for breaches of Appendix E1.5, Appendix E1.4 (Code of Conduct for Club Officials), C28 and...

Following the ban placed on Enugu-based Female Journalist, Janefrances Nweze Onyinye after Nigeria Professional Football League  (NPFL) side, Enugu Rangers International FC tagged her a threat to State Security. The Solid FM Sport Presnter was at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, the home of Enugu Rangers during the Matchday 20 of the Nigerian top league encounter between Gombe United and the home team. The game ended 2-1 and the Flying Antelopes claimed the available three points.   Head coach of high-flying Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club, Fidelis Ilechukwu has said his side's priority for the moment is to defeat reigning Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Enugu Rangers on Friday. The Olukoya Boys will host the Flying Antelopes in one of Matchday 10 fixtures of this weekend at the Soccer Temple, Agege Township Stadium tomorrow in Lagos. Dolphins Trio To Miss Rangers Game

The trio of Emmmanuel Olowo, Pius Ibrahim and Emeka Atuloma will not be in action for Dolphins Football Club of Port Harcourt as they play Enugu Rangers this afternoon at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium  in one of the biggest games of the match day 26 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). Emmanuel Olowo stays out of the Dolphins team to play Rangers on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 as he is yet to regain match fitness after being given time off to prepare for his wedding. Pius Ibrahim is also not anywhere near the team as he is recovering from illness. Ibrahim is Dolphins 3rd choice goalkeeper and has not been in goal yet this season though he has made the match day squad on at least three occasions, his last being being the League game against Sharks on August 23.
