Para Athletes, Widows Set To Benefit As ANFASSC Holds Seed of Love Outreach On Thursday

As part of activities marking the End of the year party of Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club (ANFASSC), Para Sport athletes and widows will benefit from the Seed of Love Outreach of the Supporters club. The beneficiaries will receive several food items and other materials. According to the National President of ANFASSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi, the "ANFASSC Seed of Love Outreach 2022" will hold on Thursday, December 22 at the club's Secretariat, 96, Ogunlana drive, Surulere Lagos, starting from 12 noon. He noted that it's part of their effort to continue reaching out to the society , particularly as the 2022 yuletide season draws nearer. The ANFASSC Supremo said it's a gesture that has been enshrined in the yearly programme of the Supporters' club. Meanwhile, ANFASSC's end of the year party will come up on December 27, 2022 at the Club's Secretariat in Lagos.

Hajj Gafar Receives Another Award

NSF Delta 2022: Nasarawa Eyes Top-ten Finish In Asaba

Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Nasarawa State, Amb. Lucky Isaac Yargwa, has expressed confidence that the State's contingent participating at the 21st edition of the National Sports Festival tagged #Delta2022, will end the biannual multi-sport fiesta on high. Yargwa disclosed this on Saturday evening at the Media Centre of the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, while briefing journalists covering the Sports Festival. According to him, "We are participating in 27 Sporting Events. "In all of these Sports, we are very confident of surpassing our previous medal records. "So far, Team Nasarawa has won three medals - one Silver from Para-Table Tennis and two Bronze coming from Taekwondo Events(Poomsae Individual and Poomsae Team Events). "Some of our athletes are already in the medal stage in some sports, and before the end of today, we should have more medals in our cabin. "There are many other sporting events we are yet to commence participation in. 

NSF DELTA 2022: Nigeria In Search Of New Talents In Asaba

As the National Sports Festival tagged "Delta 2022" kicks off in Asaba the Delta State Capital, the atmosphere is now set to hunt for budding talents who will fly the nation's flag high during international competitions.  The Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare said that his focus for the next 10 days was looking for talents to deploy into the national teams for the next Olympics, scheduled for France, come 2024. Mr Dare made the assertion today while speaking to journalists at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba.
