Head Coach of Delta Queens FC of Asaba ,Tosan Blankson, has expressed satisfaction with his team performance as they defeated Heartland Queens 2-0 


The gangling Coach stated this in an exclusive interview with *Sunday Agunbiade* in Asaba shortly after arriving the state capital at the ongoing 21st edition of National Sports Festival. He said:


"Sunny, I'm very excited winning away from home. We all know that getting 3 maximum points on the road is never a child's play in thus clime and this will serve as a major tonic to spur my girls to more victories. The girls gave their all and they really fought hard for the victory." Said the great gaffer


Reacting on the secret of success in his career, the CAF B licence tactician said:

"Continuity is the secret of the Queens. The team is still work in progress but I believe with the support from the Delta State government , being Marshalled by the Chairman Sports Commission, Chief Tonobok Okowa, the team will surely get there and makes the state proud " submitted,the FIFA License trainer certificate holder


Delta Queens is one of the most successful Nigerian women clubsides competing in the Nigeria Women Premier League, the highest division of female football league in the country.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
