Olatunbosun bids MFM FC emotional farewell as he joins Plateau United

Newly acquired Plateau United forward, Sikiru Olatunbosun has bid his former team MFM FC an emotional farewell as he looks forward to making his debut in the  2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) which will kick off this Sunday across various match centers. The tricky left-footed player who joined the Jos-based team during the transfer window for the new season after an eventful years of service at the Lagos-based team shared an emotional valedictory message on his Twitter account: @Skolatunbosun appreciating his former team, family, friends fans and the Media.

MFM FC reclaim second spot with 3-2 win over Katsina United

Goals from Stephen Odey, Olatunbosun Sikiru and Onuwa Chukwuka propelled  Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries FC to second spot on the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) log after a hard earned 3-2 home win over Katsina United FC on Monday morning. The Matchday 31 encounter between MFM FC and Katsina United originally scheduled for Sunday was shifted to this Monday morning due to heavy downpour at the Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium on Sunday and the fans still came out in appreciable numbers to support their darling team. Both teams began the lively contest with determination and precision. The hosts won the first free kick of the match after 10 minutes of exchange but Olatunbosun failed to make it count. The duo who played in the two friendly matches couldn't make the final squad for the qualifier game against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.   Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries FC forwards, Olatunbosun Sikiruand Stephen Odey' have described their first ever Super Eagles call-up as dream come true, Mountaintopfc.com can report. The two Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) stars were included in the Nigeria's squad for the friendly game against Corsica and a camping in France ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against South Africa on Saturday, June 10.   Both players have been impressive in the Nigerian topflight this season, their outstanding performances in the leagues have earned them the much-awaiting senior national team invitation. Odey, the Nigerian top league leading scorer and influential left winger, Olatunbosun have scored 19 goals with eight assists in the first stanza of the 2016/17 NPFL season. Olatunbosun Delighted With His 11th NNL Goal

Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club (MFM FC) forward Olatunbosun Sikiru netted his 11th goal of the season on Saturday at the Agege Stadium in Lagos when MFM FC defeated Gateway FC 2-1 in week 25 of the Nigeria National League(NNL) encounter. Fidelis Ilechukwu side got on the score sheet in the early minutes of the game when Akueto Chidi put the host in front as he tap in a low cross from his team mate, the first 45 minutes ended with MFM FC taking the lead into the half time.Second half resumed  with Gateway pushing hard for an equaliser as they went forward with precision thereby forcing MFM defence to their defence line. The church team put themselves together string few passes, Sikiru was connected upfront and he pulled the trigger from outside the box with a curling shot with his left foot and found the back of the net.
