Supreme Court FC resurrected their chances of finishing on top by the end of the season with a 2-0 victory over Jigawa Golden Stars in one of the week eight matches decided in the Nigeria National League this weekend. The much needed win was recorded in the second half, courtesy of two quick goals from Striker Paul Samson and Emmanuel Chukwuma in what appeared like a pay back to their Opponents who claimed a late lone goal victory in the first leg in Dutse. The grueling encounter that was played at the bumpy Hadejia Stadium saw Kogi United display an improved performance to force the first stanza end without a goal for both sides. The resumption saw frustrating calls from match officials which was aimed at frustrating the Confluence state club from initiate any attack against their hosts.
