Stone Tips Flying Eagles To Win U-20 World Cup

Former Dolphin star Stone Evbuomwan has hailed the Flying Eagles of Nigeria as a complete team and tipped them to win the FIFA Youth Championship in New Zealand. The Nigerian U-20 side under the tutelage of Coach Manu Garba will be heading to the competition as African Champions after lifting the Cup in Senegal where they defeated the host 1-0 in the final courtesy a wonder strike from Esperance new signing Bernard Bulbwa. Stone To Make Arab Contractors Debut

After signing on the dotted lines in Egypt with Arab Contractors Stone Evbuomwan will be making his debut with his new club today against Egyptian League table toppers Zamalek. The former ABS FC midfielder penned a two-and-a-half year deal with Egyptian Premier League side El Mokalwoon a week ago after he impressed the Egyptian club coaches, technical crew and the management team during his trials which lasted for a couple of weeks. Ex-Golden Eaglets midfielder will be playing his first game for El Mokalwoon today Friday 3pm Nigeria time against Zamalek Under 21 team in preparation for the big encounter on Sunday in the Egyptian top flight against Smouha. According to the player's representative in Egypt who spoke to Abbeyliveradio UK via telephone conversation,Buade Oluwasegun Joel who is the CEO of Pexsports international football management,said the five days assessment period is a traditional period which Egyptian club sides gives to players that are about to sign for any club in Egypt. He also said that the period is to ascertain the player's fitness level,medical examinations and to get the player familiarise himself with his team mates before signing his deal with his new club. Stone Wants A Way Out Of Dolphins

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) campaigner, Dolphins Football Club of Port Harcourt young midfielder Stone Evbuomwan has declared that he wants to quit playing for the club. The former Abubarka Bukola Sariki Football Club (ABS FC) player didn't get enough playing time under manager Stanley Eguma during 2014 top flight season and he feels leaving the club is a better option for him. Stone in an interview on Wednesday before the Super Eagles two all draw against South Africa said that it's high time he move forward. "I had a wonderful stay at Dolphins, coach took me as his son but I wasn't fulfill due to the fact that I didn't have enough playing time and that's not too good for me as a young player who is aspiring to make a statement in world football.
