A top Nigeria Football Federation official who prefer to remain unknown has disclosed that Junior Ajayi is the ideal forward for the Super Eagles ahead of the next edition of FIFA World Cup tagged Russia 2018. Ajayi who made his Super Eagles debut against Serbia National team few weeks ago has been a key member of Al Ahly since joining the eight-time African champions from Tunisian club CS Sfaxien in 2016 was described as the perfect striker for the Super Eagles ahead of Russia 2018.  "Football on the pitch of play is about transition among the players. Nigeria’s Under-23 football team goal-machine, Junior Ajayi has promised Nigerians that the Dream Team VI will finish the unfinished business in Point Noire on August 2 in the return leg of the CAF U23 qualifying game against Congo. Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC)  defeated Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) reigning champions Kano Pillars 1-0 in Ibadan at the Lekan Salami Stadium in the rescheduled game of Match Day 3. Dream Team VI forward, Junior Ajayi scored the only goal of the nervy encounter in the 11th minutes of play when he collected a pass from Rasheed Olabiyi ,he turned inside his marker and put the ball beyond the goalkeeper with a terrific finish.
