NPFL: Under 23 Hot Shot Junior Ajayi Says 3SC Will Gun Aba Elephants In Ibadan

Nigeria Under 23 striker, Junior Ajayi has tipped his Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit Shooting Stars of Ibadan to gun down in-form Aba Elephants in the match day 13 of the Glo Premier League Super Sunday fixture in Ibadan.

It's another rivalry game in the NPFL with a lot to play for as two experienced coaches Kadiri Ikhana and Gbenga Ogunbote set to face each other in a fight against relegation for Shooting and a push for seventh League shield for Enyimba.

On current form, the visitors are favourites in this encounter to get somethingen out this game but one man who will not be available for this Super fixture due to national team assignment with the Dream Team VI, Junior Ajayi believes Shooting Stars are capable of ending the visitors good run of form.

Ajayi  disclosed in a chat with Nigeria Sports Arena that he has been looking forward to this same fixture from the start of the season as he opined that the rejuvenated 3SC under coach Gbenga Ogunbote can defeat the People's Elephant in Ibadan on Sunday at the Lekan Salami Stadium.

He began, "actually I have been anticipating this same match right from start of this season but its a pity I can't take part in the weekend game due to a national duty.

"Enyimba are unarguable one of the greatest club sides in Nigeria with a great squad, we have to respect them for that but that doesn't mean we can not stop them.

"The team 3SC now have a good Coach in Gbenga Ogunbote. Before I left them for under 23, the team spirit was very high and I believe it's still the same thing going into this game.

"I know they have got big players in their squad who can get the job done for them elsewhere in the league but not in Ibadan. We have great players as well, it's going to be an end to end stuff, my team mate are very much aware of the importance of the game.

"Reemember we defeated Kano Pillars in Ibadan so Enyimba's case will not be a different one, I believe we are going to win the weekend match with the likes of player we have in the team and the new coach has also transformed the team so I believe we are going to be victorous " the 19 years old striker said calmly.
