FCT F.A Educates Abuja Teams On Laws Of The Game

The FCT F.A organised a one day seminar on Appreciation of the Laws of the Game for teams in FCT playing in the Nigeria National League and the Nigeria Nationwide League on Friday.

 

The seminar major purpose was to help build the knowledge base of the management and players of these teams to help them compete favourably in the forth coming league season.

 

Speaking at the opening of the seminar, the FCT F.A Boss Alh. Musa Saeed Talle tasked the various teams to capitalise on the current efforts of the FA to ensure that the nation’s capital produces a Premier League side. “We all can see the quality of play displayed yesterday at the coaches pre-season finals, and we are optimistic that one out of our two Nigeria National League teams if not the two will gain promotion, we will continue to support all of you and in every way possible to ensure we achieve this goal” as he declare the seminar open.

 

The coaches and players at the seminar where all full of praises and appreciated the efforts of the F.A for organising this event.


The representative of the players responded to the opening remark and he said “we are so grateful to the new board and the secretariat of the FCT F.A for deeming it necessary to organise a seminar for our collective progress, we will continue to pray for the success of this government.”

 

Mal. Mohammed Adebayo Ameenu, a FIFA trained RAP Technical Instructor, who was invited as a guest speaker appreciated the F.A for thinking in this direction and finding him worthy to be part of this drive to reposition FCT teams in the league and the face of football in FCT.


He further stated “I am impress with the level of participation of the participants during the session, this has shown that we all are ready for the change that we all desire”

 

The acting Secretary of the FCT F.A Coach Usman Haruna Ilerika was overwhelm with the turn out of the teams and their involvements during the interactive session.


“The teams has shown high level of commitment by ensuring that members of their technical crew and players were available for the seminar and the participants also has shown us that it was not a wasted effort by contributing, asking very intelligent, technical and constructive questions and this simply means that we are very lucky to be dealing with educated people.


We will continue to do all we need to do to ensure that we change the face of football in FCT and produce a Premier League side that we do us proud.”
