Emenike Booed In Turkey, Wants Racism Out Of Football

Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Emenike has declared that he wants racism to be kicked out of the round leather game after his team Fenerbache beat Besiktas 1-0 on Sunday at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.

Emenike missed a goalscoring opportunity for his turkish team in a one-on-one situation with Volkan Demirel and he immediately took off his shirt and headed straight to the tunnel to substitute himself out of the game as a result of a racist comment.

Report scooped from goal.com revealed that Emenike team-mates convinced him to return, but unsavoury scenes followed when both sets of players came together following a heated exchange between Fener captain Emre Belozoglu and Beskitas coach Slaven Bilic.Emenike was eventually substituted in place of Pierre Webo at half-time.

Moussa Sow  salvaged the three points for his team when he volleyed home a fine 91st-minute winner for Fener.

After the  slim victory the 2013 African Cup of Nation top scorer expressed his anger and revealed the reason behind his actions via his official twitter account claiming that the fans didn't love him and that they called Nigga after he missed the goal.

He tweeted "Let's kick Racism out of Football he continued by tweeting. "I hope I'll be somewhere where fans love me soon. I don't want to play football for people who calls me "nigger". Miss red-white times, he concluded.

The Fenerbahce striker has been under pressure because of a poor goal-scoring record for the Turkish side.
