CCL: Enyimba Ready To Crush Buffles In Benin --Udoji

Two times African champions, Enyimba Int'l are match ready for Sunday Caf Champions League primilary round second leg fixture against Buffles du Borgu of Benin Republic.

The Cup champions held their training on Saturday morning at 10am local time inside the Stade de L'amitié, the training lasted for one hour and thirty minutes.

Speaking after his team training, the team captain Chinedu Udoji believe the Elephant are match ready to crush their host.

"We have been in camp for couple of days, played test games which has help our level of fitness and increase the team confidence.

"The stadium looks good, with lush green grass just like what we have in Aba. We are ready, though will must be aware of our host," Udoji said.

Enyimba won the first leg in Aba 3-0, goals from Daniel Etor, Kingsley Sokari and Peter Onyekachi put the Elephant as favourite to progress.

"The result in Aba doesn't count much in this game, we need to play with all strength and passion for the whole duration. We need to be focus and concentrate, football sometimes can be funny. We have set aside the first leg result, the game tomorrow (Sunday) will decided our fate.

"We need the support of our fans back home, they should believe we have done it. We understand the task ahead of us, and we are optimistic of a positive result from this game that will ensure our progress to the next round," he said.

The match will be played at Stade de L'amitié, Contonu at 4pm local time, same time with Nigeria. 

According to French translation, L'amitie means "Friendship".  The stadium can be called Friendship stadium.

It is a Multi-purpose stadium in Cotonou, Benin Republic opened in 1982.

The stadium has a capacity of 35,000 people.
