Adegbenro, Suleiman Seals Viking Deal
Kwara United winger, Samuel Adegbenro Toluwashe and Suleiman Abubakar of El Kanemi Wariors have joined Norwegian clubside Viking on a four year deal.
Samuel was influential for Kwara United promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) after a brief stint in the National League, while Suleiman played an active role El Kanemi last time out in the apex league in Nigeria.
Reports from Viking Football Club official website revealed that the two players have penned a four year deal with The Dark Blues which will keep them at Viking Stadion Stavanger till 2019.
The reports reads "they came from Nigeria to showcase themselves to Viking in an early phase of the run few days after arrival it was clear that these were two very interesting players.
"The winger Adegbenro (19) has trained in dark blue for over three weeks, while the attacker Abdullahi (18) currently on assignment with Nigeria's U20 national team.
"Thursday morning Viking announced that talented Africans is signed for four years,"the official statement stated.
Suleiman started his football career with Lee Academy Jos but was on loan to Elkanemi Warriors last season, he's currently with the Flying Eagles who will be participating in Africa Championship from 8 to March 22 this year.
Adegbenro had stints with Dynamo FC, Prime FC and Kwara United, scored 10 goals in 35 matches for the Ilorin based. Samuel was the best player in Kwara United and one of the best players in the league.
He was invited to the camp of the Nigeria Under 23, Dream Team VI, scored two goals in four games and stamped his place in the current Samson Siasia squad.
