Osho disappointed with loss

Technical Adviser of Remo Stars, Osho Fatai says he is disappointed with the outcome of game between his side and Sunshine Stars of Akure in Match Day 18 of the Nigeria Professional Football league (NPFL).

Osho highlighted the fact that his team came to Akure with a lot of expectations and insisted that with the level of play without a win today makes it very disappointing.

 


"We are really disappointed because we came in with a lot of expectations but for us to have lost with the level of our play today makes it more disappointing."

"We have to move on, the game against Sunshine Stars is gone and we really need to focus on our next match and more ahead."

"A draw could have been a better result for my side because the result wasn't a true reflection of what happened on the field of play, the host won today and we can't fault it."

"We still have to work a lot at the final third, we had lot of chances we couldn't convert but am sure we will get better when we fully work on our final third."

"The team is getting better every day, they are getting the game philosophy and as time goes on we will keep getting better at every game." Osho concluded.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
