NNL: Tosin Omoyele targets Nnewi United scalp
Inspiring Osun United attacker, Tosin Omoyele, says they are ready to put the Anaedo Lions to the sword on Saturday.
Osun United Football Club and Nnewi United Football Club go head to head in a Week Six Nigeria National League game that should be one of the interesting fixtures.
He said “We will do our best to secure a win over Nnewi United to improve our position on the log, we will go all out for an outright win against Nnewi United,” the former COD United enterprising striker told OSUN UNITED MEDIA.
The Omoluabi Giants will be protecting their unbeaten home run at the Oshogbo Township Stadium and have a chance to the top four of the standings on Saturday if they win against Nnewi United.
Osun United will be inspired with their midweek 1-1 away draw against First Bank FC, but will be missing the service of injured left back, Aleem Adebayo.
Nnewi United currently sit on the relegation zone of the NNL Southern Conference standings after a poor run inform, but recorded their first home win on Wednesday with an emphatic 3-1 win over My People FC.
Osun United are seventh on the log, and will hope to give themselves a huge lift by defeating Nnewi United to improve their position on the ladder.
