No Going Back On Premier League Slot - Supreme Court Boss


Supreme court FC Chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Saleh Gambo has reiterated the desire of the club’s management to work tirelessly towards securing a place in the country’s top flight league, the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.



Alhaji Gambo who dropped the hint while unveiling kits for 2014/15 football season, reminded both the players and officials of the need to redouble their effort in a bid to challenge for a higher spot.



Represented by Director of Special Duties Mr. Christopher Unigwe, Alhaji Gambo who is also the Chief Registrar of Nigeria’s Supreme Court insisted “On our own, we will continue to encourage the players and officials of the club to perform optimally. I have always stressed the need for the players to play as a team. Let no one be self-centered.



“We will provide the enabling environment for success to be achieved. Reasonable request forwarded to us will be treated accordingly. What we need from the team is for them to reciprocate what the management is doing.



General Manager of the club, Mr. Tolulope Oguntimehin remarked that the team have been given necessary preparation needed to challenge their opponents adding “We have young and vibrant players who are hungry to make the club proud and take their career to greater heights.


“Supreme Court FC have been able to provide a platform for them as a launching pad for them to realize their dreams and aspirations in life. Moving on, the club ultimate goal is to be the second team from the Federal Capital Territory that will grab premier league ticket.


Technical Adviser, Coach Fatai Osho and Team Manager Henry Haggai extolled the contribution of Supreme court in impacting positively in the lives of the youths and assured of their readiness to reciprocate.


Abuja-based Supreme court FC are among the teams currently in the Nigeria National League, NNL. 


They will begin their quest for glory against Jigawa Golden Stars when the new league season gets underway this weekend in Dutse with the new football kits adorned with Yellow on Green and Blue as well as a Black on white Jersies in subsequent matches.
