Howard Must Go Says 3SC Supporters

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan fans and supporters are not happy with the poor performance of their darling team in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) hence they want Coach Franklin Howard and the entire technical crew to throw in the towel before the situation get out of hands.

Howard returned 3SC back to the top flight in 2014 after they relegated to the second tier league, Nigeria National League (NNL) in the 2012/2013 NPFL season but the Oluyole Warriors are yet to wake up to the hostility of the apex league thus the avid fans and supporters of the team believes the gaffer Franklin Howard lacks the charisma and wherewithal to pilot the team to a successful outing in the league.

Speaking after matchday nine encounter between the Ibadan club and Enugu Rangers played on Sunday at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Ibadan, the game ended in a one all draw as the Flying Antelopes shared the spoil with 3SC. A frustrated and angry looking supporter says" This man cannot do this job, 3SC is too big for him to coach in the NPFL, he's not getting things right.

He continued "Fine he brought the team back to the Premier league we love him for that but right now we are not happy with him anymore, he and his entire technical crew should leave our team and go, we are tired of this poor performance at home" he said.

In the same vein, another supporter of the club who pleaded to be anonymous also said that 3SC may relegate if Howard remain as the coach.

"We are on our way to relegation if 3SC continue with this poor performance week in week out. The result we witnessed today is the reflection of the ability of the coaching crew headed by Franklin Howard.

"Howard and his technical crew must be sacked if 3SC wants to go far this season, they are not Premier league coaches, it's obvious they cannot do this job. Keeping them on the job will only take us back to where we are coming from. He said angrily.

The Oluyole Warriors have played nine league matches this season they only raked in eight points and claimed the 19th spot on the NPFL ladder. Although, they have a difficult outstanding game at home against Warri Wolves, a win for them in that encounter will only push them to 14th place on the log.
