Water FC winger Success Makanjuola says the Nigerian Under 20 team are ready to start their campaign in the  2019 African Games with a victory.


Nigeria and Burkina Faso will begin their quest in the men's football event this evening at the Stade Moulay Hassan in Rabat.


Makanjuola disclosed in an exclusive interview with nigeriasportsarena.blogspot.com that the team has all it takes to win their first game of the tournament against Burkina Faso later today.

"Starting a tournament with a win is what every player desire and I think we have all it takes to win Burkina Faso.

"We have prepared very for sometime now, we just need to approach the game with a winning mentality and believe in ourselves.

"The experience we gathered at the World Cup in Poland will definitely come to play and I think we will carry the day," he concluded.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
