Flying Eagles dazzling winger Success Makanjuola and gangling forward Emeka Chinonso are hopeful of sealing the final ticket in the men’s football event of the 2019 African Games taking place in Morocco.

Nigeria will trade tackles with Mali in Wednesday’s semifinal clash in Rabat but Success and Chinonso are confident that the team will book the final ticket with a victory later today.

Both players were outstanding in their last game against host nations Morocco.

Emeka scored Nigeria’s second goal in that game after coming on as a substitute while Makanjuola made meaningful impact with his contribution to the team’s success.

Speaking in an interview with nigeriasportsarena.blogspot.com Makanjuola said: “Mali has always been a difficult side for us, very strong and highly technical as a team but we are stronger and I believe we will stop them today because we can't afford to miss the final ticket.

"As a football team we came to Morocco for just only one thing which is to win gold medals and I'm happy that we are on the right track. All we need to do as a team now is to give our 100 percent and book the final ticket."

Emeka Chinonso also said that the team will put in their best to beat Mali and book their place in the final.
