Rivers State Governor To Splash The Cash On Siasia Boys

The newly elected governor of Rivers State, Barrister Nyesom Wike, has vowed to spoil the Nigeria Under 23 football team with cash ahead of the most-win 2016 Men’s Olympic football qualifying game coming up on Sunday against Congo at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.


The governor was amongst the fans who saw the Dream Team VI training session on Friday evening and was highly impressed with the lads performance revealed to Supersport.com after the session, that goals scored will be rewarded with cash.



“I want to charge you to go for a resounding victory on Sunday because Nigerians are relying on you.


“For each goal you score on Sunday, I will reward you with $30,000 USD while three goals on Sunday will fetch you $100,000 USD,” governor Wike said after the session monitored by supersport.com.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
