Olabiran eyes Russian Premier League spot

Nigerian Olympic player, Olabiran Muyiwa has informed
nigeriasportsarena.blogspot.com that his team FC Tambov will pick one of the available spots in the Russian Premier League on Sunday.


Khimki will host the Wolves in Matchday 36 of the Russian Football National League at the Khimki Arena this weekend but Olabiran believes that his team will be victorious and book a promotional ticket to the Russian top league.


Olabiran, 20, disclosed in an interview with nigeriasportsarena.blogspot.com that he is excited and waiting patiently for the match.


“I’m really excited because we have worked harder together with the team, staffs and fans to be here, so we are all happy and waiting patiently to finish the work we started.


“We really want this win and we’ve trained intensively throughout the week for this particular game, Khimki are not push overs, they are very strong but I believe we win by the special grace of God.”



FC Tambov are second on the Russian Football National League table with 67 points, same points with PFC Sochi, the league leaders.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
