Odey makes fourth Swiss Super League TOTW

Nigeria striker Stephen Odey has been handed a spot in the Swiss Super League Team Of The Week (TOTW) for the fourth

time this season after his impressive performance for FC Zurich on Wednesday against FC Thun.


Odey hit the target for the City Club in their 3-0 home triumph against the Thuners in the Matchday 34 of the Raiffeisen Super League and helped his team to their third straight win.


The former MFM FC goal poacher who posted a worthy performance in the entire duration of the game was rewarded with a spot in the Switzerland top league TOTW.


The Nigerian forward has now made the TOTW for the fourth time this campaign after scoring his 10th league goal and 16 in all competition for FC Zurich this season.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
