Olansile Football Academy Boss Aiming To Put The Academy On The Global Map



The President of the foremost football academy (Olansile Football Academy)
located in Osogbo state of Osun, Suleiman Olansile has revealed that with enough investments in facilities, enough talents would be harnessed and grow to compete on a bigger scene.


According to a research that highlights the crisis facing the production of talents, poor facilities amongst other things have rendered the grassroot football to face uncertain future.



The young administrator who was a delight to behold started his football career with defunct Adidas FC before jetting out to Nepal where he starred for couples of elite clubs like Machindra FC, Shoyambhu FC, Anderson Athletics, New Star, and New Road Team NRT, where he quit professional football in 2014.



"We lack enough facilities like sports equipments, good pitches and inadequate transportation system to ensure that we produced the best legs from the grassroots.



"There's still a long way to go before we can catch up with the foreign system, it's only when enough facilities are provided that's when players can enjoy themselves.



"We need to revive football academy system in Nigeria because in foreign countries, academy remain their priorities, they even have their own 'academy league' where talents have been catching eyes and monitored," Olansile who enjoyed academy life as a kid with Pepsi Football Academy told foremost Soccer Platform *Family United By Football FUBF.*



Following the fast tempo at which his academy project is being nourished and blossom in the state since inaugurated in March 2019, the energetic administrator whose philanthropical gestures know no bound remain committed to turn his academy to world class center.



"We are catching up with foreign system gradually, with our newly acquired equipments and training centre, our lads will continue to develop and enjoy their games optimally.



"We have secured partnership deals with some academies in Europe and couples of our players have been attached with league sides in the country to garner the needed exposure.



"I have the plan to turn Olansile Football Academy into a world class outfit and the best in the country very soon," Olansile Omo Mummy who is the sole sponsor of the prestigious grassroot tourney (Olansile Cup), concluded.
