Mighty Jets installed Bazuaye as new gaffer

Mighty Jets have confirmed that former Nigerian international Bouldwin Bazuaye has been named as the club's new head coach.

In a statement released by the management through its Media and Publicity Officer Mbum Ferdinand, chairman of the club, Godfrey Hamza approved the appointment after submission of credentials by numerous candidates.

Bazuaye shot into world reckoning when he helped the Nigeria national U-16 team, to win the maiden edition of the FIFA/KODAK U-16 World Championship in 1985.

"We have evaluated his work ethics and believe he is the right man for the job, he has a wealth of experience and besides he was a former International star who played for Clubs at home and abroad as well as representing Nigeria at the highest levels of International football and that huge experience is what we want to tap from," chairman of the club Godfrey Hamza said.

Having gained valuable experience from working with Lobi Stars and Bendel Insurance over the years, it is believed that Bazuaye will add value to Mighty Jets.

His decision to accept the offer are based on the facts of the rich history of the Club and the enormous ambition of the management to win the State Federation Cup in 2016 and play in the National Federation Cup as well as gaining promotion to play in the Nigeria Professional Football League at the end of the 2015/2016 campaign.

Bazuaye will be assisted by Abubakar Abubakar, Haliru Isiaka, Joseph Atser and Henry Adams.
