Copa Lagos:Enyimba Steps Up Preparation To Clich Barcelona

Few days after clinching the 2014 Federation Cup title by defeating Dolphins of Port Harcourt, Enyimba FC of Aba has stepped up preparation to tackle FC Barcelona Beach Soccer team during the 2014 edition of Copa Lagos.  

Motivated by this successful victory coupled with a second place in the 2013/2014 final table of Glo premier league, the club is better stirred up to win the Barcelona Challenge trophy.

According to the Chairman of the Club, Chief Felix Anyasi said "Enyimba will give Copa lagos Barcelona challenge the best shot, judging by a handfull of the players experience on beach soccer,though we are not under presure to win it,notwithstanding the experience of the barcelona side will give it our best shot for the game of soccer has no respect of persons,"he disclosed.

Enyimba FC, the Aba-based, a two-time African Champions, with a track-record of successes in intercontinental football campaigns has vowed to deliver more silverware for their staunch and teeming supporters as Copa Lagos kicks off in a few weeks.

With a striking force of Chimezie Amanfor, the "Peoples' Elephant" as fondly called is poised to compete against other premium Nigerian clubs, including Stationary Stores, in The Club Challenge.

  Super Eagles star trio of Paul Onuachu, Frank Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika on Thursday paid a surprise visit to their boyhood club, FC Ebedei, Apele, Sagamu in Ogun State. FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com. The transfer fee should have been paid over several installments; however, Banik failed to meet the deadlines as regards the fee meant for 36 Lion.  Muhamed started his professional career at Banik after joining from 36 Lion ahead of the 2018/19 season.
