Akinwunmi In Doubt Over Second Term
Lagos State Football Association (L.S.F.A) Chairman Barr. Seyi Akinwummi who also doubles as the Vice President of Nigeria Football Federation (N.F.F) is uncertain of being re-elected into the Stata F.A chairmanship position.
No doubt, the NFF vice president has done well in terms of achievement to an extent during his first tenure as the LSFA boss but more still need to be done.
Akinwunmi who took over the position from ex-Internation Waheed Akanni spoke to BFCNew Soccer App after the Annual General Assembly (A.G.A) meeting in Lagos and said that he can not authoritatively say whether he will be vying for the chairmanship position but promise to make his intention known when it is appropriate.
"When the electoral guideline comes out you'll see whether I'll contest or not but to be honest with you there isn't any reason why I shouldn't contest.
"With all due humility I think I've justified running, I'm not saying I've justified winning. There's a lot to be done and I'm willing to do the work," he said.
BFCNews scooped the date of the election and found out that it will be some time in February, 2015.
