Talabi Olumakinde Wants To Maintain Top Performance

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan midfielder Talabi Joshua Olumankinde became the match hero last weekend when he put up a brilliant performance that saw his team triumphing over visiting Bendel Insurance with a 3-0 win.

Talabi, 19, told olawaleblog.spot that he was excited with the way he played over the weekend and he hope to keep up the fine form.

He said "Let me thank God first because it's not easy but God almighty made it easy for me. Am so glad and excited with the way things turned out for me in that game, to came back to the team and score a goal gives me joy.

" I want to maintain this performance, am getting better with my performance week in week out and I want to continue with this fine form as we focus on promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)," he commented.

Talabi joined Shooting Stars from Ijebu United in 2011.

The Nigeria Under-20 invitee was virtually everywhere on the pitch on Saturday and contributed immensely to the Oluyole Warrior's victory as he assisted Najeem Olukokun who got a brace and he later fired in a shot from a distance to give 3SC a comfortable win over Insurance.

Shooting Stars are topping the Division B Nigeria National League (NNL) table with 36 points from 21 league matches.
