NNL Week 19 Division A Preview Wikki Tourists, Kwara United To Maintain Momentum

Nigeria National League makes a return after the first staza cum 2014 World Cup break with breath-taking games to savour.

Group A leaders, Wikki Tourist of Bauchi will be looking forward to maintaining their first stanza performance, Kwara United are expected to step up their games and keep up with the momentum.

It promises to be an exciting moment for league lovers across various match centers in the country when this great teams meet this evening.

In Division A. Supreme Court will be hosting Group A table toppers Wikki Tourist who are currently leading the group with an enviable five points.

The reverse fixture ended 2-0 as the Bauchi outfit claimed the avaliable three points. A victory of any kind in this game will take Supreme Court to a better position on the log.

Former Nigeria Premier League (NPL) side Afonja Warriors are second on the Division A log with 30 points a point above the third place team, they will be entertaining DSS FC in Ilorin.

DSS FC were victors in the first leg with a 1-0 win. The visitors are13th on the sixteen-team log with 23 points,  seven points behind Kwara United. United will not take it lightly when both sides meet.

Adamawa United and third place team, Niger Tornadoes are in for a real conquest as the Yola based side welcome the visitors. The host suffered a 1-0 defeat the in the first stanza. Adamawa maintained the eight spot with 27 points, a win for them in this game will definitely take them above Niger Tornadoes who are third on the log with with 29 points.

Teap FC and Nigeria Prisons FC will face each other in a relegation battle. The two clubs have played 18 games each, Teap are 15th on the standing, has 19 points while Prisons FC are placed bottom, they have 14 points, win or loose for both teams will not make any difference but it will only reduce their point deficit. If Teap wins they will close the gap between them and FRSC who are 14th on the table with same of number points.

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. Ex International Cup: FC Nwosu Through To Quarter-Final

FC Nwosu are through to the quarter-final of the Nigeria Ex Internationals Cup after dramatically edging FC Amoo 10-9 on penalties. The star studded FC Nwosu got their goals from Namory Keita and Ishola Olaitan, while FC Amoo netted thanks to Mubarak Mustapha's brace. It meant the game was 3-3 on aggregate. Goalkeeper Samuel Oriola was the hero in the shootout. FC Dosu 0-2 FC Agali FC Agali stunned FC Dosu 2-0 to march on against all odds. The tricky pairing ended 4-3 on aggregate.
