NNL Week 19 Division B Preview, 3SC, Stores To Set Adamasingba Ablaze,MFM FC And C.O.D In Lagos Holy Ghost Derby

Nigeria National League (NNL) resume today with match day 19 as Shooting Stars and Stationary Stores set to engage in another old rivalry Western battle, the Lagos Holy Ghost derby is not left out of this match day between MFM FC and C.O.D United.

Division B table toppers, Shooting Stars and Stores are expected to make Ibadan fans go gaga this evening as they set to rekindle their old rivalry battle in what is unarguably the star match of this game week.

The Flaming Flamingo beat 3SC in the same fixture last time out with a 2-0 victory in game week three at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos in front of an estimated capacity of about 10,000 fans.

The Oluyole Warriors are yet to loose a game at home this season in the NNL, they have gathered 30 points so far, they are also topping the Division B table with just one point above Gabros International who are second with 29 points. The visitors are not finding it easy in the NNL, they are two steps down to drop zone with 22 points from 18 games. A win for them will be the biggest surprise of the NNL but I don't see it coming.

Another interesting game in Group B will be the Lagos derby between the two Lagos Church teams as they set to do battle at the Agege Stadium in what is tagged the Holy Ghost derby.

City Of David C.O.D United beat Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministry Football Club (MFM FC) at the beginning of the season Week three to be precise with a 2-1 win at Onikan Stadium. MFM are 7th on the sixteen-team Division B log with 26 points, four points behind Shooting Stars,  an outright victory will brighten their chances of finishing strong at the end of the season.

Second placed team in Group B Gabros International will be hosting basement side UNICEM Rovers in a make or brake encounter.

Gabros claimed their first maximum points away from home in this same fixture this season in Week three with a 1-0 win in Calarba. Gabros have amassed 29 points from 18 NNL matches, they are yet to loose any game at home this season. UNICEM will have to play their heart out to get a decent result from this match.
