Jagaban Cup Organisers In Discussion With Stakeholders For A Memorable Event

Football followers who have grown accustomed to interesting action in Nigeria are assured of quality but more excitement when Jagaban Cup gets underway.


The Organizing Committee is working assiduously to put all the modalities in place for November 15 when the championship is scheduled to get underway. 


Brain behind the tournament, Gafar Liameed, spoke with the Media and assured that his team is working overtime to ensure that fans receive high quality of football.


“At the moment we are deeply engaged in discussions with the relevant stakeholders pertaining to plans for the staging of the event, including our communication with grassroot football clubs, officials and agencies,” he revealed.


The 36 Lion Investment executive further assured that his team is bent on delivering the high quality of entertainment that fans have grown accustomed to receiving.


“Preparations are going well as planned. From the onset, there have been engagements to meet the timelines.”


“The number of days that the competition would take place promises moments of exciting football.”


Gafar Liameed thanked APC Presidential Aspirant Bola Ahmed Tinubu aka Jagaban for his support in ensuring that this year’s event becomes a reality.


“His Excellency Jagaban is a Sports loving man. On behalf of my committee members, I’m using this medium to thank Jagaban for his support.”


The tournament is being organized to raise awareness for APC Aspirant Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has been tipped to win the 2023 Presidential Election.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
