NSM/WALIN KAKURI CUP: Soname, Gafar, Olopade to honour outstanding teams with mouthwatering prizes

Organizers of the 5th Edition of the NSM/Walin Kakuri Cup are excitedly looking forward to the final games after news filtered in that sponsors and supporters of the competition have lined up mouthwatering prizes for outstanding teams and players

Winner of this competition will get the OTUNBA KUNLE SONAME prize for emerging champions while the second placed team will get the BUKOLA OLOPADE PRIZE for finishing second. 

The most valuable player and highest goal scorer will get a prize each from HAJJ GAFAR LIAMEED who is chairman of 36Lion FC while the Alhaji Aminu Balale prize for best behaved team is also in the offing. 

The Pillar Of sports in Nigeria, Chief Donatus Ejidike is not left out of the party as he has also promised to support the competition with a special prize for outstanding participants.

  Super Eagles star trio of Paul Onuachu, Frank Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika on Thursday paid a surprise visit to their boyhood club, FC Ebedei, Apele, Sagamu in Ogun State. FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com. The transfer fee should have been paid over several installments; however, Banik failed to meet the deadlines as regards the fee meant for 36 Lion.  Muhamed started his professional career at Banik after joining from 36 Lion ahead of the 2018/19 season.
