I have something to offer Eagles, says Efe Ambrose
Nigerian international, Efe Ambrose has disclosed that he has a lot to offer the Super Eagles ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
With one qualifier game to play against Seychelles, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have already booked a place in the 32nd edition of the prestigious AFCON which will be staged in Egypt from 21, June to 19, July, 2019.
Having booked the qualification ticket to the next edition of the Nations Cup with a game to spare the Super Eagles are expected to conquer the continent, hence the need for experienced and trusted players.
Ambrose who recently joined Derby County during the January transfer window, played his first game in the Ram’s colours on Sunday posting a worthy performance with an assist as the Under 23 team trounced Bristol City 8-1 on Sunday (Yesterday) disclosed in an exclusive interview with nigeriasportsarena.blogspot.com that he has a lot to offer the Super Eagles.
“I believe I stilI have something to offer this present team.”
He continued; “My experience at this level and the knowledge gathered in the last few years of playing for Celtic and Hibernian FC have made me a better player.
“I believe if given a chance again, I can bring leadership and guidance to the team as we aim to win a fourth Nations cup title in Egypt.” he concluded.
Efe was voted as the best right full-back on the continent after the 2013 AFCON. He has made 51 appearances for the Super Eagles with four goals and a couple off assist to his credit.
