Olatunbosun wants full points for Plateau United against Pillars



Plateau United new import Sikiru Olatunbosun is hopeful of an outright win this weekend as his team face Kano Pillars in Lafia.


Following their earlier sanctioned by the League Management Company (LMC) to play three home games in Ilorin.  After playing the first, Plateau United appealed that they should play the remaining in Lafia and it was granted hence, this tie between the Peace Boys and Pillars will be staged  at the Lafia City Stadium.


The former MFM FC star who made his debut for his new team against FC Ifeanyi Ubah in the opening match of the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in Jos is optimistic of a victory when his team host the former NPFL Champions.


“Our game against Pillars is a must win for us. We need the maximum points like every other thing.


“The game is one of the biggest games of the week and we need to win games like this to make a big statement.


“I know it’s going to be difficult but then I think we are capable of beating any NPFL team,” he stated.


Plateau United are fourth on the Group B NPFL table with four points from five league games. A win for them tomorrow will take them to a better position on the log.
