I believe we will come out victorious, says Ohanu ahead Kwara game

Former Kwara United forward Michael Ohanu is hopeful of a victorious outing on Wednesday when Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries FC face his former team.

MFM FC will host the Harmony Boys in one of the mid-week fixtures of Matchday 2 in Group A which will be played at the Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium.

Ohanu, who had a stint with the Ilorin-based team for three years where he emerged as the club’s top scorer with 15 goals in the NNL joined the Olukoya Boys from El-kanemi Warriors after a brief stay up in the north during the transfer window, talked about the possibility of his new team claiming the maximum points of the encounter.

“If you watch our last match we lost that match, so myself and my teammates will put in our best and work very hard because this is our home.

“Kwara United drew their last home game and they are coming with everything to make sure that they get a point here but I believe in what our coach has said, the encouragement and the hard work we have been putting together. So I believe we will come out victorious,” he to told MFM FC media team shortly after his team’s work out session on Tuesday.

Fidelis Ilechukwu and his charges lost their first game of the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season on Sunday 2-0 to Enyimba of Aba with Ohanu posting a worthy performance upfront.
