Positive Mind Keeps Keshi Going

A short maxim says that "the last thing to leave a man is hope" when a man is hopeless everything around him would be fruitless.

Keshi as a coach over the years has shown some level of confidence which is as a result of being hopeful, he was hopeful against Ivory Coat in the last edition of African Cup of Nation( AFCON) the outcome of that game boasted the morale of his squad and the Super Eagles went on to play in the final against Burkina Faso and defeated them by a lone strike courtesy of Sunday Mba.

Recently, the Super Eagles didn't put up a good performance according to public opinions when we played a goalless draw against Iran, Stephen Keshi maintained his confidence level after the game he didn't fret rather he was smiling while speaking to Journalists after the game on Supersports 3 hoping that Nigeria will win their next game against a highly rated Bosnia-Hercegovina side. To some, it sounded stupid and unrealistic but you know what the big boss and his Boys had done it again.

Prior to the make-or-mar clash with their Group F opponent Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday, the manager of Nigeria senior team at the ongoing 2014 World Cup in Brazil Stephen Keshi was full confidence while addressing the press knowingfully well that the game is as important as the AFCON final to the Super Eagles of Nigeria, victory is paramount to them , if they are to remain in the competition , anything shot of victory may jeopardise their chances of progressing to round of 16, Keshi stated,''Yes, we are confident. I know I talked to my players and I know we will come out winners.

''Bosnia is a tough opponent, has a good offense, but I'm sure we will have a good game and win.

''We have a passion for playing football. Our mood is very good, we are passionate about the World Cup and that's how we're going to the end." I believe we all know how the game turned out after 90 minutes.

Positive minds cum positive thinking will not win games for anybody but will only give hope and strengthens the thinker and spurs he or she to victory if other necessary measures of achieving great results are tested and employed then the sky is the limit for that person, and I think Keshi did all of these before fielding his team against Bosnia-Hercegovina.
