NFF Election: NFF Chieftain Ahmed Fresh describe Emir of Daura visit joyful moment
Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical and Development Committee, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, has described the visit of Nigeria football family to the ancient city of Katsina a day full of excitement after the approval of authorities in Katsina State on Tuesday (September 4, 2018).
Fresh the ‘Jagaban’ of Nigeria football was part of the top NFF Echelons who paid courtesy visit to the Executives of Katsina State.
His Excellency and Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari noted how the visit clears the atmosphere and rumored stories on the change of venue for the 2018 NFF election.
“As we entered the Government house of Katsina State, the ambiance was quite positive on our quest to formally abreast His Excellency, Aminu Bello Masari concerning the schedules of the forthcoming of Nigeria Football Federation General election,” divulged Fresh.
In Fresh annotations the Governor said; “Kastina is also a home of football in Nigeria. We heartily welcome you all to State/Home of hospitality and we are ever ready to host Nigeria football family and the Federation election come rain, come sun.”
Ahmed Fresh, the Debonair Football Administrator in Niger State and beyond was not left out of the delegation that visited the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Dr. Faruk Umar Faruk.
“It’s also of high importance to rendezvous at our Royal Highness palace. We understand that tradition is commonly held in Africa, Nigeria culture is also one of the unifying factors in our dear country,” said Fresh.
The Sardaunan Kwallon Nigeria, noted from the Katsina godhead remarks.
“We are happy to have you all around, as you know we the traditional rulers are keenly interested in anything that would unite our country. Bringing the biggest Federation election (Football) to our domain in Katsina State inks a lots on our history books.
“It is of great honour to resolve on the soil of Number one citizen of Nigeria, Presidential Muhammadu Buhari where free and fair election will take place. We are assuring maximum supports from above, as well as everyone’s backing in the home of hospitality,” noted the Emir.
NFF President Amaju Pinnick, NFF 1st Vice President Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, NFF 2nd Vice President and LMC Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, NFF Executive Members, General Secretary of NFF, Mohammed Sanusi, NFF Congressmen, Football Stakeholders amongst others were part of the historic visit to Katsina State.
