Clube Deportivo Primeiro De Agosto central defender, Yisa Anifowoshe has told nigeriasportsarena.blogspot.com that Os Militares are three match away from making an unprecedented mark on the continent after their 2-1 triumph over Mbabane Swallow Yesterday.


D'Agosto beat Mbabane Swallow 2-1 in matchday 6 of the ongoing Total Caf Champions League group D game played at the Estadio 11 de Novembro on Tuesday to book a place in the quarterfinals of the competition courtesy of a goal each from Bitumba and Geraldo while Aladeokun scored a late consolation goal for the visitors.


" Big congratulations to all my teammates for booking a place in the CAF Champions League quarterfinals" says Yisa shortly after the remarkable victory.





He continued " Winning the Champions League is one of our objectives this season as a team and it's the dream of every player in the team. We have been working round the clock so as to achieve this objective. We are three step away from making history for ourselves and for all our supporters and fans. 


"It's not going to be rosy but with the technical input from the coaching crew and the usual support from the management, I see our dreams coming to reality", the former Al-Ittihad star told nigeriasportsarena.blogspot.com.


The Girabola reigning champions who claimed the second spot on the group D table with nine points from six Champions League games will play Cuando Cubango in the final league match of the Angolan League this Sunday.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
