MFM FC Olatunbosun's stunner makes CNN Goal of the Week

Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club forward, Sikiru Olatunbosun's wonder goal against reigning Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Enugu Rangers has been shortlisted for the CNN Goal of the Week.


The left-winger scored the first goal of the match in the 31st minute of the entertaining encounter when he brilliantly connected a backheel flick from NPFL top scorer Stephen. Olatunbosun flicked the ball over the  Rangers defender, Emmanuel Etim before rifling a long-range volley into the back of the net. 


At the end of 90 minutes on Friday, the Olukoya Boys claimed a 2-1 victory over the league champions with Odey scoring the second goal while Bobby Clement got the visitors consolation goal.


With less than two days and 22 hours left to wrap up the voting process for the CNN Goal of the Week, Olatunbosun's magical finish is currently leading Radja Nainggolan of AS Roma, Y.Tielemans of Anderlecht and Working FC's Joey Jones with 77 percentage.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
