Phreestyle Sport charge Football Managers, Administrators, Players to lead by example
CEO of Phreestyle Sport, Shogo Shodunnke, has called on football administrators, managers and players to ensure they lead by example in their tasks to make their sector admirable and recognized by all.
Shodunnke gave the charge at a seminar tagged "Leadership Role In Modern Club Management And Structuring Players' Financial Life Using Football Terms" organized by Phreestyle Sport for officials and players of ABS FC on Tuesday.
A member of FIFA University Network and International Centre for Sports Studies, South Africa noted that a leader or manager of a football team must be able to model his or her way and inspire players to greatness.
"Club administrators and managers must at all time maintain high/low philosophy, hit the bottom line, practice the bumble bee principle and find helpful significance in all he does," begins the graduate of Mass Communication.
"In this part of the world, we see volume of work as commitment but in the developed countries, a good leader takes time to think than work. For good leaders to achieve set goals and objectives, they need to take the destination off their mind and start the journey."
"As a team we need to celebrate our successes, good is the enemy of great and as leaders we need to go for greatness."
Earlier, the brain behind Phreestyle Sport, Shodunnke emphasized the need for players and other actors in the game of football to understand and interprete the terms used in the game to better their lives.
He also advised footballers to always see themselves as ambassadors of any club they play for with their attitude both on and off the field.
Alloy Chukwuemeka, the Director of Football of ABS FC commended the guest speaker for the meaningful and educative seminar which he describe as beneficial for all clubs who intend to meet up with the required standard in football business.
Chukwuemeka reiterated the ABS' continued collaboration with organizations like Phreestyle Sport in order to achieve and maintain the club's status as a complete professional football club.
Phreestyle Sport has also organized seminars on career talks to players of Enyimba International FC, Crown FC, Nasarawa United, Remo Stars, Supreme Court, Lobi Stars and Imperial Academy in the past.
