Ilechukwu's squad for Tornadoes duel

Head coach of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos, Fidelis Ilechukwu has released his 18-man squad that will face fellow Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) newcomers, Niger Tornadoes of Minna in Match Day 37 encounter scheduled to take place this Sunday at the Confluence Stadium Lokoja, Kogi State

MFM FC forced NPFL reigning champions Enyimba International Football Club of Aba to a goalless draw in their last league match in Port Harcourt at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium to brighten their chances of remaining in the top league.

Coach Ilechukwu has decided to stick with 80 percent of the squad that muscled out the crucial point against Enyimba Int'l FC. Newman Musa who sustained an injury in his team's last league match, former Nembe City goalkeeper, Egbe Ospino and Julius Emiloju are the players that didn't make the trip for this Sunday tie.

  Super Eagles star trio of Paul Onuachu, Frank Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika on Thursday paid a surprise visit to their boyhood club, FC Ebedei, Apele, Sagamu in Ogun State. FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
