Ghanaian striker, Majeed tips Mbia for success in China

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Warris has tipped former team mate Stephanie Etoundi Mbia for success in the Chinese Super League with his side Hebei China Fortune FC, Nigeriasportarena can report.


The Cameroonian captain switched his allegiance to the Chinese outfit during the January transfer window for a fee believed to be around $4.4 million from Turkish giant Trabzonspor after an impressive performance in the Turkish Super League.


Prior to his move to  Trabzonspor the Indomitable Lions captain won two consecutive Europa trophy with Seville of Spain but Waris believes Stephane will record another success in China.


"For me I don't think his move to China will change anything. As long as he keep proving himself it's never going to affect anything.


“Mbia has a winning mentality and I am sure that is going to help him to succeed in China,” the Lorient striker told Nigeriasportarena.

FIFA Hit Banik Ostrava With Transfer Ban Over 36 Lion's Outstanding Transfer Fees

FIFA have sent the Czech Football Association a letter in which they slammed a transfer ban on Banik Ostrava as a result of outstanding dues to 36 Lion Football Club. The ban will only be lifted when Banik pay the outstanding dues they owe the Lagos based club for the transfer of Tijani Muhamed on 1st July 2023. The letter received didn’t specify the number of transfer windows that Banik will be banned from, but only clarified that it is due to the former Flying Eagles striker deal with the Czech Republic top flight team. Muhamed, 23, is a product of 36 Lion. He joined Slavia Praha from Banik during last summer's transfer window for €1.26m according to Transfermkt.com.
