BOLOWOTAN GOLD CUP NOW IN SEMIS

After claiming a 6-5 penalty win over TCCG FC, following a goalless 90 minutes in the quarterfinal, Greater Heights, will now face F.A Victory in the Semis of the most entertaining Grassroots Football event in Lagos,  #BolowotanGoldCup13, at the Police Barracks Sports Field, Igbogbo Ikorodu this Sunday by 2pm.


Adebax FC and N-TAB FC claimed a narrow win over their opponents in Round 8 to book a spot in the Semifinals of the ongoing #BolowotanGoldCup13. The two teams will slug it out by 3pm on Monday, at the Police Barracks Sports Field.


The organizers of the events have announced that, the last four teams in this year’s tourney, will be presented a set of jerseys for their remaining matches.


#BolowotanGoldCup is powered by the Director General, Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr Oluwatoyin Gafaar.

Mahanaim FC Lockdown Green Lock FC In Abuja

Mahanaim FC kicked-off year 2025 with a victory over Greenlock FC on Saturday, at the Bwari Township Stadium. Goals from Aliyu Imran and Nambou Roman were enough to secure victory for the boys in our first match of the year. Both teams hadn't met since 2023 when we cruised to a 2-nil win over them. That result set the tone for our match on Saturday, with our opponents hoping to get one over us this time. Our Coaches, Saheed Jimoh and Jackson Mbuk had set up a line up which had a blend of young players and the experienced ones, including Haruna Abdullahi, who also got a goal the last time we played GreenLock. Director General of the National Sports Commission, NSC , Hon Bukola Olopade has expressed excitement over potential collaboration between the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC Limited and the Sports Commission.
