Football Intermediary Association of Nigeria (FIAN) to hold Nigeria Football Summit, inaugural AGM

There finally seems to be light at the end of the tunnel for professional and aspiring football players as Intermediaries Licensed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have resolved to join forces in a bid to sanitize the business of players transfer within and outside the country.

Football Intermediary Association of Nigeria (FIAN), which was formed in the fourth quarter of 2017 and subsequently duly registered by the CAC in the second half of 2018, has already grown in leaps and bounds under the leadership of an acting executive led by Micheal Sodeke.

It is now finally set to elect members into positions of authority to steer the affairs of the very ambitious yet pragmatic organization.

The event which is themed “Best International Practices In Approaching Football Business“ is billed to take place on April 5th and 6th, 2019 at the Four Point by Sheraton Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos by 8am on both days.

The event would see top NFF officials, Nigeria football Administrators, European football agents association members, the media, Nigeria club owners and host members present on a platform to share ideas on how international best practices can be applied to the business of players transfer and contract negotiations in Nigeria.

Registered FIAN Members would now go into a closed session AGM where critical issues tailored towards the growth of the association would be addressed and a duly elected executive would be constituted with the Acting President Sodeke and registered FIAN member Ayodele Thomas leading the race to become the first elected president of FIAN.
